Teresa Farah is the Chief Legal Officer, Chief Governance Officer, and Secretary at MDVISIT CLINIC.. In this role, she’s responsible for all legal matters in MDVISIT CLINIC. Teresa is an award-winning transactional attorney and business strategist who has worked in international business for over thirty years. She has represented clients ranging from Government of Dubai, Walmart, Tyson Foods, and Sam’s Club.
Prior to returning to the U.S., Teresa worked in Dubai, U.A.E. for seven years, both in the private and public sectors. While in Dubai, she served as the Head of the Legal Department for The Executive Office of the Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
During her tenure with the Dubai government, Teresa was the lead counsel representing the government of Dubai in numerous multibillion-dollar joint ventures between the government and multinational corporations, Fortune 500 companies, and other governments. As the Head of the Legal Department for the Ruler of Dubai, Teresa managed the legal requirements of a multibillion-dollar portfolio of assets, which included all entities under the authority of The Executive Office of the government of Dubai, which included: Dubai Development and Investment Authority; Dubai Mercantile Exchange; Dubai Energy Limited; Dubai Healthcare City (a 4.1 million square foot healthcare free zone) developed in conjunction with Harvard Medical; Dubai Industrial City; Dubailand, LLC (a multi-billion dollar residential and entertainment complex); Jumeirah, LLC (a luxury global hotel and hospitality group); Dubai School of Government (developed with Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government); and Dubai International Humanitarian City (largest humanitarian hub in the world).
